St. Columba’s new 17,775 square-foot worship center was designed to accommodate a rapidly growing parish. Seating approximately 700, the fan-shaped layout and sloped floor provide sight lines for everyone. The pipe organ, relocated from the existing sanctuary, was rebuilt and enlarged to fit the new space. The project included a covered porch, a large narthex, sacristy and altar care rooms, reconciliation and changing rooms, a bride/cry room, storage rooms and restrooms. The approximate cost totaled $5.1 million.
